Hi Origyptian
All good stuff.. I feel that there is actually an underlying debate going on here which is really questioning the past acceptance of the sometimes most tenuous of evidence in order to create a seemingly fully structured understanding within a certain discipline. It seems to me that within my life time, my society .. western .. has moved from an almost fear of not knowing to a total acceptance and understanding of how little we actually do know..
I guess it could be down to the post structural revolution..
Question everything and go on questioning.
Unfortunately there are those that have not yet moved into the present post structural epoch.
