SC: Yes, I understand this but since vertical glyphs are always read from top to bottom (honorific transposition aside), the sieve glyph would surely appear at the top (or thereabouts). The more I consider this the more it looks to me that Vyse/Raven/Hill had what was originally a horizontal 'master' and simply copied this into this chamber, simply rotating the horizontal 90* to the vertical, thereby creating these 'inconsistencies' with the cartouche oval which, imo, was drawn vertically in-situ.
