Hi Scott
Has anyone ever bothered to ask a calligraphy/ hand writing expert to take a look at this glyph..
I'm no expert but had to do some work on writing systems as part of an art degree..
Writing styles as taught, evolve and change quite quickly, especially English..
Anyway it seems to have some Victorian English characteristics to it .. Too complicated to explain here..
It's very subtle but I think it may be there ..
However I know enough about handwriting to know that it was painted top to bottom, after the stone was installed. and by a right handed and very amateurish sign writer..
