Now I (unlike you) am going to name some Egyptologists, who clearly do regard the inscriptions in question as authentic and the forgery claim as not: Aidan Dodson, Richard Parkinson, Edmund Meltzer (search this board), Rainer Stadelmann, Hans Goedicke, Miroslav Verner, Vassil Dobrev.
Of these, Aidan Dodson told me some time ago that the forgery nonsense was turning up in undergraduate essays.
To these I may add historically: W. M. Flinders Petrie, George Reisner, Alan Rowe, I. E. S. Edwards.
Now this is just a guess, but I’m going to guess that every single one of these is vastly more experienced and qualified in the field than your “Egyptologist friend”.
Go on, Creighton, prove me wrong. State your friend’s highest qualification in Egyptology. Surprise me.
