Except obviously you, Creighton — and you seem to be “forgetting” (the tactic is tired) that the topic of this thread (see OP) is your article in Atlantis Rising 106 — you published it, I didn’t ask you to — and you’re dodging my question about the self-contradiction in that article. Here it is (with typo corrected):
“Now you’re here, perhaps you’d like to explain your self-contradiction on the drawing captioned “in Campbell’s Chamber”?”
In every post following that, you’ve been ducking and diving and employing distraction tactics.
And still this gibbering nonsense about Frank Dörnenburg. Again for the hard of understanding: I am not responsible for what Frank says or said. I agree with him on some things and disagree on others. I give him credit for what he gets right. All of which should be obvious, without my having to say it.
The name of the fallacy you’re employing here is “falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus”.
How it came about: I shared some scans with a few selected people, via password-protected Web space, on the understanding that the images were not to be used. Frank either misunderstood or forgot. I decided when it happened that the least said, soonest mended. For your information, I did not tell Frank anything about where the journal is, so you may in future refrain from ill-informed innuendo on the point.
And again for the hard of understanding: I have no obligation whatsoever to present any of this material.
As for your presenting “the full page” in Atlantis Rising, what did you actually present? A low-res image which hides the fine detail — and on a key and disputed point, your own misleading drawing in place of a truth-telling enlargement. Here by way of reminder:
For you, having done that, to accuse me of misinforming “through omission” or in any other way is the rankest piece of hypocrisy I have ever encountered. For all of your squirming efforts to turn this around and make it about me, it’s you that’s on trial here, for going into print with a thoroughly and culpably misleading article.
