I'm not in the popularity circles either, am not adept at stringing 6 syllable words together to form intimidating sentences, and do not pay homage to the famous alt authors.
Adoption theory does explain more, but I question that "Khufu" ever existed and may be just an overly eager creation of the egyptoligists. They had everything to gain.
Something else about the graffiti marks you may have noticed...... there are traditional cartouches and there are unusual signs I haven't found elsewhere, and nothing in-between. Were all the cartouches a forgery and the other signs authentic?
Also have a problem with the "cartouche" itself. It was decided in the 1700's that the cartouche enclosed a royal name, because the Chinese used a rectangle to enclose their royal names. Rectangle - oval....... close enough for the antiquarians. Reasoning is not good enough for me.
