Apart from being a fellow Scot and a fellow veteran ex-poster on the Hall of Maat, I am most certainly not claiming to be that (we have clashed swords at various times over the years) - anyway I'm sure we are all aware he can speak most ably for himself and no doubt will in due course, so I'll leave it to him. As for myself, I can't seem to even use the most innocuous phrases on here at the moment - someone clearly has me firmly in their sights - so it feels rather pointless engaging further.
I look forward to seeing how this debate unfolds now that the ground has shifted so fundamentally. Interesting times ahead - but I wish *all* parties well in their combined efforts to thrash out a clearer picture concerning this small but fascinating corner of history.
