I think there is a fundamental question here ..
Can an advanced technology exist without advanced mathematics??
By advanced mathematics I mean "Post Enlightenment"..
e.g. A wheel..
A wheel is quite a complex device, basically consisting of an infinite number of levers.. A mathematical analysis of a wheel is quite complex.
However the first wheel was probably developed without the aid of mathematics.
If the wheel were being developed today it would begin as a concept which would then be mathematically modeled, and then developed into a prototype.. Which is pretty much how we have been doing things for at least the last 600 years.
A wheel is a very simple analogy, but I think most would understand what I mean.
So can an advanced technology develop without math.. And if so how would it develop. ???
