What your correspondent fails to understand is exactly what underpins all of creation, and that is before an object becomes material, it first has to be imagined. Thoughts become things.
Whether or not, the created object is the result of an idea, a thought, a picture in the mind, in 2D or 3D; without the imaginative source, nothing will come into being. Is your correspondent suggesting that objects can just miraculously appear without prior forethought?
