So, it doesn't matter if you've taken a swimming class or not ... for you, the key is: can you swim?
Your imagination, coupled with a scientific knowledge that surpasses mine, has enabled you to design a working model of something you have made to resemble the temple reliefs.
However, using your analogy of swimming might I ask whether you are able to read the hieroglyphs which accompany these reliefs if the key is being able to 'swim' - for the relief is only one part of the 'puzzle' you are keen to solve.
