According to the RoE/CoC, to address a member (in the negative), instead of the topic, is not permitted.
This includes 'expressed-or-implied' and 3rd party quotes.
IOW, do not address the poster/person; Address the topic, only.
Saying something "positive" about a poster is fine but, only when the topic is included or obvious.
Personalizing usually requires going 'off-topic'.
Henceforth, any 'personalizing' in the negative may result in a warning.
