I think you will find if you look at the situation the reason the inscription is of importance is its reference to Khufu, which has been used to confirm that Khufu was the builder of the great pyramid. As this is the only piece of physical evidence to confirm this I would suggest that confirmation is actually necessary, the subject has been thrown in all sorts of directions which irrelevant to the crux of the issue.
I am disinclined to recapitulate it for you.
I will just take this as confirmation of you accepting that there is no other evidence connecting Khufu to the great pyramid, NOTHING.
