This is hearsay. We need to know exactly what was or is in it rather than the recipe for ramps. One time we're told the fill on the north cliff face is ramping material and another time something different.
The question isn't whether or not they knew how to make ramps because even animals know how to make ramps. The question is did they use ramps to lift the stones for G1. I haqve no doubt there's only enough actual ramping material in the quarries to build a ramp to the Sphix and the main quarry as well as an 81' 3" platfoirm on the south side of G1. Then, of course there shouls be associated debris from G2 construction and the other smalkler projects in the area.
Lehner's statement smacks of magic; just wave your hand and make history dance to your will.
