Nice. The KC, though, was very important as being the embarkation point of the ba. And yes...another chamber, or feature incorporating a chamber, inside.
The sockets...the pavement level mimics a particular aspect of the sky and the stars above and below this aspect, like a waterline on the bank of a river. The sockets then, are the riverbed level, 'stretched by the cord' against particular stars to lock them in as foundations/pillars of support. Their various levels reflect the aspects of the stars they are measured from, while being measured through the height of the Pharaoh.
