The last two posts between you and MJT have made very interesting reading and imo very constructive. One thing that surprises me is your agreement that the granit plugs were built in. Firstly do most Egyptologists agree with you both on this? Secondly, if the plugs were fully surrounded by masonary at an early stage of the building process surely this would suggest that the ascending passage above the plugs was never used? If that were the case then nothing was ever transported upwards from the GP entrance, (unless perhaps from the base of the well shaft). Is that how you see it?
