JB: This begs a new set of questions for the RVT to answer, here are just a couple.
How much forewarning did the ancient cultures have? Months, years, centuries?
SC: Well it seems to me from the ancient Arab records that the stars in the sky moved out of their place (i.e. the Earth wobbled) BEFORE the order was given by the King to construct the pyramid recovery vaults.
"...I saw the heaven sink down below its ordinary situation, so that it was near the crown of our heads, covering and surrounding us, like a great basin turned upside down... I thought we saw a certain part of heaven opening, and a bright light coming out of it; that afterwards the sun rose out of the same place, and we began to implore his assistance; whereupon he said thus to us: "The heaven will return to its ordinary situation when I shall have performed three hundred courses" ... The priest having thus spoken, the king commanded them to take the height of the stars, and to consider what accident they portended. Whereupon they declared that they promised first the Deluge, and after that fire. Then he commanded pyramids should be built, that they might remove and secure in them what was of most esteem in their treasuries...." Murtadi - (992 AD at Tithe, in Arabia). Translated in 1672.
This agrees with the Star-Shaft Axial Tilt Theory whereby the four shafts of the Great Pyramid were designed to depict the before and after positions of the northern and southern skies, each of which, at Giza, seem to have been displaced by around 6 degrees, shifting Giza further south into a much hotter environment.
It seems that this event was to last for three hundred years (300 courses or cycles of the sun rising in the same place). Curiously if we take the pyramid-building age commencing at around 2650 BCE (Step Pyramid) then 300 years later would see the final collapse of the Old Kingdom and the commencement of the chaotic First Intermediate Period. It seems to be around this time that whatever caused the stars to shift their positions 300 years earlier seems to have finally crashed into the Earth (or fragments thereof) as a series of meteor impacts - Burckle, Kamil, Al-Amarah etc which all are dated roughly to around 4,000 or so years ago.
JB: What is the source of and how did they acquire the information to forecast the warning?
SC: If we are to accept the Arab record it seems that the king asked the astronomer-priests to "...take the height of the stars...", in other words, to make measurements and calculations. It seems that they concluded that the end of the event would take around 300 years i.e. when whatever they saw in the heavens would finally crash to the Earth. And if this is so, then it seems that their calculations, however they did them, were not that far off. The Australian astronomer, George F. Dodwell has presented scientific proof that around 2,345 BCE (some 300 years or thereabouts after the initial tilt of the axis) the Earth's axis was jolted to an obliquity of around 26.5 degrees, an angle of obliquity that our modern science says it could never have been. But the evidence is there. See Dodwell's Manuscript.
But we could speculate upon this to the nth degree and never agree. What I think is important to consider is that we have an ancient text that most likely sourced its information from texts of even greater antiquity that tells us in fairly clear terms that the pyramids were ordered by the king to be built as 'Recovery Vaults' after the Earth had tilted and the civilisation was threatened so that "...the violence of the water might not destroy it."
What better motive could the ancient Egyptians have had for constructing these monumental structures than giving each and every Egyptian hope that their civilisation could be reborn; that their children might have a future by their hardship and endeavour.
