What's logical about that connection? What does the size of camels have to do with humans? Is there some evolutionary link that requires humans to scale with camels?
And 36 feet is dramatically more than twice the size of normal humans. Show me evidence of camels 6 times taller than current camels. An engineer could probably calculate the maximum height a human skeleton could reach before being unable to stand up. The tensile strength of bone is known, and so the strength of leg bones according to their thickness. The increasing weight as size grows is known. I don't have the mathematical skills, but I would bet the height where your legs would break when you simply stood up is close to 12 feet.
Like ancient Rome, we today are once more importing every form of exotic superstition in the hope of finding the right remedy for our sickness.
