You are correct. One cannot exclude the purpose of all pyramids since they are all linked together, at least mathematically speaking, which proposes a particular order that does not necessarily follow accepted timelines.
Ignoring the mathematics and based solely on the workmanship alone one could conclude the order in which Giza was constructed to be G3, G2, where G1 was the last to be constructed!
