From the re-search I have done regarding the 'culture' of the AE... I agree with orthodox beliefs that the GP could represent the Ahk ..a union of Ba & Ka.
the math conveys the same concept. The circle is the square's duality. One rational and one irrational....It could be viewed as a physical representation of the spiritual intent of the structure.
Dowe not find fundamental mathematical concepts within our current architecture. yes. Then, it shouldnot be that far of a stretch to accept the possibility theAE didthe same.

Why did you do it.

That's not my intent to convey that they were one single unit. My focus is on the math. when i see correlating data that ultimately conveys a math system that conveys a concept similar to that of the spiritual beliefs of the AE.
Again, this begins to get out of my boundaries. But, the underlying meaning of the two {in comparison} would appear to suggest intent.

Actual people using 'math' and planning to develop their monuments.
evidenced in their Rhind
evidenced via their Hieroglyphs..
correlated via the integral units of the structure
and, now demonstarted to potentially tie into their cultural beliefs.
