Hi Rick
I also have found these kind of web sites and I feel very disappointed about them. I really don't know why these people show this hostile style against authors like Graham.
But I want to mention a terrible word in your post: "devastating". I have the same feeling: what would happen if these "foolish" theories are finally proved and accepted? From my position of former archeologist I have a mixed feeling of shame and fear.
I have recently learnt Thomas Khun theories, which I consider very useful to understand the scientific progress throughout History. I think we might be close to a change of paradigm and that would be a big one, not a simple transformation or evolution. Perhaps it would have the same impact Darwin's theories had in his time. Of course I admit the possibility of being wrong, at least partially, but I wouldn't like to be in the loser's side. That's why I began to be more and more skeptical, but then you have to be skeptical to both sides, with the same criteria; that's the best approach I find to look for answers.
Thanks
TL
