M, it doesn't even fit Your illustration. try using another tree image, formed from a triangle:



because the squared shouldered Kircher tree you are using doesn't fit the triangular form:



The Gates of Light Tree fits the Milan Cathedral plan and the DC map plan:

Remember that the vesica generates both an equilateral triangle and one with 52 degree base angles. The DC map utilizes a 52 degree triangle, the wide one, the cathedral uses the narrow one.
