Now, I've read this and other works like it, but his methodology is, well, less than reliable. He's not even familiar enough with the Egyptian language to realize that perhaps the reason they didn't write the "L" in "Atlantis" when writing it in the Old Kingdom is because the letter "L" did not exist for Old Kingdom Egyptians.
And this fact tends to push us away from an Atlantean source for pre-Dynastic kings. If they really came from a place called "Atlantis", then why would they not have brought the sound/letter "L" with them to Egypt?
Another case of "lost and found" technology, I'm afraid. Those really don't sit well in the real historical record.
