Indeed there was not cultural unfromity in the three thousand years of egypt even in the orgin of the rulers, the captiol cities, the type forien cultures they tried to aline themself with, ect. Certanly there are elments shared the Old,intermidate,Middle,and New Kingdoms but they vared in structure. There was a fluctuation in who was in charge between upper and lower egypt. Some times egypt was more closy alined with it's canaanite neighbors, somtimes it claimed a more separtet culture. The north med. cultures changed as well since the greeks in the early New Kindom went from being Ionian dogs
to revering a greek military leader who at first explified greek culure,this Alexander the great. How latter became asiatic in custom.
