I find your post confusing as the dates for Vyse are wrong. When you say "Journal" do you mean Vyse's three volume "Operations Carried on at Gizeh"?
If you do then the May 7 date is wrong (I have an original copy of Vyse in front of me and he does not record "blasting through into one more chamber" on May 7th).
Or do you mean the original diary pages in which Vyse recorded his notes at the time etc? These pages are more normally called his "Journal" but if you are referring to those then your dates are still wrong (I have photocopies of the pages).
The other quotes are also partial and designed to put Vyse in a bad light. Vyse records that after he expressed his regret that he could not supply Dr. Walne (not Walni as you have) with copies of the graffiti he "received from that gentleman a satisfactory and obliging answer." Vyse only had one full copy and that was the tracing by Hill which he sent to British Museum.
Of the actual discovery Vyse records "Lady Arbuthnot's Chamber was minutely examined, and found to contain a great many quarry-marks."
