Where did you get the slope of the limestone only casing since Petrie refers only to both of them(granite+limestone)? Thus he gives the mean base length to be 8474.875". He then states regarding the slope:

1. "the direct rneasures by goniometer and level on the granite in situ gave 53º 12' ± 2'"
2. "but by measurement from plumb line 53º 2';"
3. "By goniometer measures of p 98 24 blocks, both of granite and limestone, lying around the Pyramid, the mean is 53º 14' ± 5'"
4. "yet it agrees so closely with the casing in that probably 53º 10' ± 4' will be the bcst statement."

Now for each value of the slope the height using the base length becomes:

h1 = 5664.3" = 274.8 royal cubits
h2 = 5630.1" = 273.14 royal cubits
h3 = 5671.2" = 275.13 royal cubits
h4 = 5657.4" = 274.46 royal cubits

The last value is according to Petrie the best statement and Edwards values in a bit smaller:

h = 274.20 royal cubits

The 3:2 theoretical value is 274.10 royal cubits.

2/a = 274.07199822

AGOS(leader) = 1 + 3 + 70 + 200 = 274 = HELLAS
