For those of you looking for signs in the heavens: On December 8, 2000 Earth, the moon, Jupiter and Saturn will be in Opposition. Also noteworthy, is how far these and other planter are from earth…the sun is .987 AU, Venus 1.058 AU, Mars 2.1 AU, Jupiter 4.049 AU and Saturn 8.141 AU (er AU is astronomical unit…I think, the distance from the earth to the sun, about 93 million miles). Anyhow…perhaps at some point you get (or get close enough for it not to perhaps matter) doubles…1,24,8. I always thought that any intangible external force (be it divine or extraterrestrial) might be on some arbitrary timetable, and such astronomical events could be like setting a watch alarm. No, very definitley not a concept in which I believe. But it makes one wonder...heck, just read the news.

BTW…Mercury at this time will be further from Earth than Venus…1.27 AU.
