Hi Joanne,

With respect I fail to see how 'hyper-diffusionism' can possibly be racist, sexist, politically incorrect...,or derided in any other way;
"hyper-diffusionism" is the only known FACT in the whole history of anthropology.

We do not[ perhaps cannot ]know whether pyramid building in sth America, China etc. was influenced by Egyptians; but we DO know that the contemporary cultures of the Americas, Australasia, southern Africa..etc, all originated from one common point - Europe.

We DO know that the indiginous people of Nth America could not have built the Empire State; we DO know that the indiginous people of Australia could not have built the Sydney Opera House...etc, ...etc.

If this is not cultural 'hyper-diffusionism', what is it??

If, as eminent anthropologists would have it, that all human beings originated from one 'Eve' in Africa and 'diffused' over the rest of the planet...., is not 'hyper-diffusionism..., what is it??
