Several publications (including, I think, Graham's) have hinted at the use of ultrasonic tools both as cutting implements (which would explain the turn-rate on the drilling of the GP kings chamber sarcophagus)and as 'levitators' which would enable the blocks to be moved around very easily, in a similar way to the effects of the air blanket under a hovercraft.

There are even eye-witness accounts of such events and accounts of recreation by scientists in the lab. Unfortunately, the references concerned are not recent acquisitions, so I will have to look them out, but perhaps Graham or Sharif can bring us up to date with current thinkging on these possibilities.

Any other theories out there that have any basis in rationality?
