Steve, it seems things are at an impasse(irreconcilable differences).
I dont doubt that most of the stones came from the Giza Plateau quarries,..but not from Khufu.
Instead, from a fellow named Gilgamesh. Apparently he liked to build massive walls and maybe get the material from sacred sites.
Sargon probably had one hell of a time breaching those walls. So he tore them down and sent them back where they came from, in the meantime making a bold statement on the Plateau...(more to follow)
Btw, am almost done here on GHMB,...have better things to do.
