You'd think that wouldn't you.... You asked:
Humm..., so I must of missed it... so why did they go through all that trouble, building those arched galleries? What purpose did they serve?
Which this all started with you saying:
The lever crane was a product of my Grand Gallery explanation. You do not need a corbelled arch, for pulling stones up the ramp. You do need it, if you intend to place a lever crane inside, as you work your way higher.
The holding blocks fit perfectly into the wall notches running along the gallery. Why the corbelled arch? Simple question, though have you heard anyone answer it. Kinda odd, that this fits so well... :)

Can you quote where you asked this question- "Why is found in the pyramid"?
Implying G1 is the only one with such a feature which I showed clearly it is not not to mention is an architectural feature used by many cultures for thousands of years having nothing to do with moving stones with large cranes.
> You seem to know the arch had
> nothing to do with moving stones.
Of course it did not-how could one not know this? Once again your ignorance and lack of basic common sense is truly bewildering made even worse by your painfully obtuse "counter arguments" and bumbling woefully misguided insults. Let me help you: while the corbel arch has nothing to do with moving stone, in the case of G1, it may, per your theory, have been made as high as it was to support your crane system. Otherwise, like all the other pyramids it is found in, as well as the rest of the ancient world, it has nothing to do with moving stone.
> Then if not for
> that purpose, "why is it found in the Pyramid"?
> What was it's purpose?
Your skull is impenetrable. Once again Steve-it is not just found in "the" pyramid, but several. Again, G1 does not exist in a vacuum.
> All stone moving schemes aside, the fact is, you
> have no idea.
I, as does anyone else with a modicum of common sense, have an excellent idea as we find several examples in other pyramids of the time which the corbel arch is also found for thousands of years utilized by numerous cultures. Just because you are hopelessly clueless does not mean the rest of us are.
> But, as it does not interest
> you...you will continue to pontificate.
You do not interest me. Shoo.
