Hi Warwick,
And that is OK with me. You are not alone in believing ramps and stone pullers. Here are a few other items which should help you.
This was a survey estimating the lay of the land underneath the 2 Pyramids, which would reduce the amount of stones asserted.
In G1, they also drilled through the wall leading to the Queen's chamber, and found it was back filled with sand. Sand being more abundant, which requires no chiseling, would be a natural option.
I encourage you to pursue a workable analysis, scenario. At some point, you will need to justify your proposal using math. Math, which is in keeping with the evidence of men's dwellings, food processing, and other supportive functions.
My biggest objection to the ramp theory is, it's unsupported. Once you begin to substantiate it, it becomes more, and more difficult to prove, ie. materials, corners, labor, time, food processing, housing, on and on it goes. I have yet, to see anyone, pull a stone up the grades proposed. Nova tried it and failed miserably. Mark Lehner tried it, and failed miserably. The problems encountered, and the time it took them, only proved how unreasonable that method is.
I am not claiming, they did not pull stones around on sleds. I'm only saying, it was not the primary method, in the building of the Khafey's Pyramid.
I'm here to help, as I am only looking for the truth. The only method I could fine, which meet the many conditions required, was a Funicular operation. Water, vessel, and an Incline Plain, will move rocks to a higher level, provided the water is already at a higher level. I keep refining the proposal, though what continues to encourage me, is the parts assemble themselves so well. Everything continues to fall into place. Try that with ramps, and see what happens. How many people and years have they spent at this, only to fail.
The Funicular is, at least, a new approach. One which seems to be capable of working. Boats/Barges need water (ballast) in them to float properly. Why not move a stone up the Causeway, while you do this?
