You want to have it both ways just like Egyptology.
Nobody wants to say it positively it was ramps because they want to maintain the fiction that Egyptology is a science. Real science NEVER says that anything is established fact so they don't really come out and say "it was ramps". Instead we are treated with utter nonsense that sounds like science; "We don't know how they built the pyramid but the only means consistent with the cultural context and physical evidence is "ramps". Such statements are not at all reasonable. There is no cultural context except as derived from interpretation and there is no physical evidence that rules ramps in or out. The actual physical evidence merely shows that it is highly improbable that ramps were used. And then they have nonsense like this;
[en.wikipedia.org]
Lots and lots about ramps but nothing about alternatives or physical evidence.
Even months later they still have this nonsense that proves it was ramps;
It doesn't matter where you look when it concerns pyramid construction because it's only stinky footed bumpkins dragging stones on ramps. It is NEVER mentioned that water flowed away from the pyramid. It is never mentioned that there is solid evidence that the pyramids were surrounded by a huge device that could impound dozens of acre feet of water. It is never mentioned that we "understand" the Pyramid Texts ONLY in terms of the "book of the dead". It is never mentioned that Egyptological "theory" is incapable of making predictions or explaining evidence. What is mentioned is that the builders were so primitive that ramps were the only thing consistent with their beliefs and knowledge.
NONSENSE. I have shown a simpler and better evidenced means of building. It is so well evidenced that in the future it will be said this was solved years ago. Stones were pulled straight up the sides of five step pyramids one step at a time. But you don't see that in wiki, do ya'.

This system is composed of a central ramp flanked by two staircases with numerous post holes, using a sled which carried a stone block and was attached with ropes to these wooden posts, ancient Egyptians were able to pull up the alabaster blocks out of the quarry on very steep slopes of 20 percent or more ... As this system dates back at least to Khufu's reign, that means that during the time of Khufu, ancient Egyptians knew how to move huge blocks of stone using very steep slopes. Therefore, they could have used it for the construction [of] his pyramid.

Man fears the pyramid, time fears man.
