No. Not "if". Certainly there is a point here that we don't know they had tura casing just like the pyramid but we still have logic to support it. Why would they build high walls of mudbrick? This was a "holy precinct" was it not?
There was no possibility that tura cladding could have survived here right next to one of the biggest tura quarries that ever existed. It was certainly the largest one in terms of production if not longevity. Funny how you can accept that there must have been ramps but you can't accept there could have been a water tight enclosure on a structure we ALREADY KNOW WAS USED TO CONTAIN WATER.
Let me ask you this. When the "holy precinct" filled up with water what would have happened to mud brick walls? It mustta been water tight. No not "mustta" like ramps must have been used but "mustta" because no other logical possibility exists.
