This image illustrates that almost all water draining from the area north of the “Ridges over 1,000 ft. high” travels due south to the Faiyum Depression some ten (10) miles [16 km], and who’s surface is below sea level, as indicated in the vintage north-south Section below [view to the east and the Nile] from the Ridge to the Depression.

Moreover, water does not move to the north-northeast location of the Great Pyramid [elevation +/- 341 ft (+/- 304 m)] on the Giza Plateau.
