We're now living in a strange new world where witchdoctors and voodoo define reality and prescribe the medicine we're all forced to take. Medicine that keeps us in line like cattle to the slaughter. We believe we are led by individuals steeped in reason and science while in fact they have motives that mostly will reduce cattle and make the world safe to be led about by the nose. "Ramps" would be a hell of a way to spend one's life and if 50,000 of us couldn't have done it they'd have just assign a million more.
It seems most people would rather be told what to do than to think for themselves. And we are told that it's always been this way.
It doesn't matter that there's no logic and no evidence for ramps because modern voodoo just throws more money at current beliefs to prop them up. Why not install posts, add water, or pull even harder if it will make "ramps" work. It's simply appalling to imagine there was no work lifting stones. So nobody should look at the actual physical evidence or consider the logic and heaven forfend anyone should see the witchdoctor behind the curtain. We must go on believing that "they mustta used ramps" is the only unassailable logic in existence. Nevermind it is obvious stones were pulled straight up the sides of five step pyramids and then they were finished from the top down exactly as is preserved historically and in the physical evidence and logic.
We've been sold a bill of goods far more outrageous and far more damaging than was sold to any stinky footed bumpkin who ever dragged a single stone up a pyramid. We are shackled by our beliefs. The language of the pyramid builders had no words for "belief". Even the word "ramp" is unattested from the age of pyramid construction.

Man fears the pyramid, time fears man.
