"FYI: There is a program, for free, you can download and see for yourself. It's called Google Earth. It has a search feature. Enter in Egypt 6th of October, and it will take you there. Goggle has an elevation meter at the bottom of your screen. You may need to find that option, and invoke it. "
for future reference...I am NOT a turnip
"The 600, and 500 ft. Mountains" Those are NOT Mountains Period
"Oh the wicked webs they weave when first they practice to deceive"
You're rapidly becoming a prime example of the stereotype.

Hi Warwick,
So you say... "for future reference...I am NOT a turnip." Well, ? let's take a closer look at that remark.
1st. It is obvious to anyone, who has been following this thread, you are making statements which you cannot back up.
You said... "is to understand that there is nothing but desert." OK, that's a real Turnip statement. My long explanation on how to use Google Earth, was intended for all, not just YOU. And, if fact, there is a large City called the 6th of October, and it additionally has a large body of water. Just Google it. A big city and and body of water, is not considered as you say, "nothing but desert".
2nd, You said.. "Please show us where you think these mountains are." So, I was kind enough to explain how you could use your mouse, to reveal different heights. Your reply "Those are NOT Mountains Period", and accuse me of practicing deception. Now, only a child turnip would say something like that... If you take a closer look, as I have done again, and follow the ridge , you will get a reading above 1000 ft. Mountains ranges are judged by their girth, as well as, their heights. It's the volume at a higher elevation, which holds and contributes to water drainage.
3rd. You said... "the Nile wouldn't have been Muddy year round. It isn't now either." That too, is a false misrepresentation, of what I said. I made no reference to the Nile being muddy year round. Only a turnip head, would misconstrue my statement, and try and put words into my mouth, in an effort to demean me.
In conclusion Warwick, you add nothing to my threads, and it is obvious to all, you have a chip on your shoulder. Please go and vent your anger elsewhere.
