If the evidence and logic matter these "ramps" used at the base of G1 were NEVER trodden by bumpkins because stones were pulled up with simple machines; movable counterweights.

Not to be a thorn in your side, movable counterweights, also do not work well for building Pyramids. Why?
The counterweight you use, will need to be re-lifted time and time again. That energy spent, can be just used to lift the stone in the first place. You gain nothing.
Counterweights are usually used, as in the back of a Forklift. They are used to offset another weight, and not to lift.
That being said...
You can lift many smaller objects, placing them into a bucket, and use them all at once to lift a bigger stone. Thou, again the energy spent to obtain all those smaller objects, will be more than if you were able, to just use that energy, to lift the stone in the first place. Houdin's Gallery contraption, suffers from this reality.
There is no magic free lunch...
