Although, just from a pure enjoyment of the design process, with respect to the stones up ramps around corners, here's an idea:
Pull them as far as you can towards the corner with your necessary gang of men, until there's no space left on the path for them in front of the block. Then imagine wooden cranes mounted in at least two spots behind the block, who's only function is the suspend the tree trunk 'battering ram' style pushing device, that has posts sticking out as bars for men to push on. If you need several of these tree trunk posts in a line to afford enough men to push, then so be it. Then there is no weight to hold those battering ram posts up, and they only act as a pushing post for men to shove the block. Push the block a bit in the pendulum of that suspension crane system holding up those posts, and then move the cranes over a bit, and repeat.
Until the block is right at the end of the path at the corner.
Then, I can imagine a lever system the pry's off the body of the pyramid and extends out where ropes are attached that men 90 degrees around the corner can pull and benefit from the lever effect to turn the stone for the next stretch of ramp.
Then rope pulls as far as they can go, and repeat the above.
Any good? If I had enough excitement to do a sketchup I would, but its too much work for what is basically design masturbation. lol
