no. Its the destructive abrasive force who's effect is heavily compounded by the durability weakening affects of heat. And the force from the resistance requires them to pull harder, which increases both those two things. Its a brutal combo.
You'd need Warwicks 'extra manpower' to make new ropes every couple days. The size of the haystack of dead frayed ropes would probably be big enough to fill a nice size ramp though..
