This ritual has nothing to do with "boats" per se and was probably read to the crowds at the very start of pyramid building near the end of the w3g-festival or "new years day". It also has nothing to do with carving stone. It is "about" pyramid building but even this isn't the subject but rather the subject is more about entreating atum/ osiris to stand and remain standing so that they can build the pyramid.
They had exceedingly few words, so to say anything at all words get a workout even in texts that have nothing to do with the words. Words don't take their meaning from context as every word in this sentence and every sentence in every modern language. Rather every word had an exact fixed meaning and there was no variability whatsoever. Each person's job was to hone their ability to use this exact meaning. Words couldn't be defined because definitions confuse rather than fix. Each word was "named" instead. A "boat" was "that which transported"/ "that which was associated with water/ etc/ etc. Words had a single meaning but every thing had three words that fell in three categories. It was the choice of the category used that contained author intent. Words in one category defined the subject, words in another defined the action, and words in the third provided perspective and provided author intent. I call these categories "scientific", "colloquial", and "vulgar" for lack of better terms.
Once the formatting and vocabulary are understood meaning is easily garnered from the literal meaning;
626a. To say: O Osiris N., stand up, lift thyself up;
"Atum/ osiris" is the water source and original god (theory) and is being asked to lift itself up. No doubt they would be "offering libations" while reciting this. A "libation" was a measured amount of natron and water which reacted with the carbonated aquifer below (nun) causing the water to come up (stand).
626b. thy mother Nut has brought thee forth; Geb has wiped thy mouth for thee.
The water sprays into the sky (nut) from the eye of horus (geb)(the mouth of the geyser). They didn't think like us so perspective was always fluid.
626c. The Great Ennead avenge thee;
Set (seth) once was allowed to collect around the mouth (eoh) of the geyser and backflow would choke off eruptions.
Poorly maintained eyes could even collapse in on themselves (set swallowed the eye of horus). For this act of swallowing the source of the water, set is condemned to forever swim under atum/ osiris.
They then built the pavements (ssm.t) that prevent spent water infiltration below.
626d. they put for thee thine enemy under thee.
Set is under osiris.
627a. Carry thou (him who is) greater than thou, said they to him, in thy name of "He of the Great Saw Palace."
Set not only carries osiris but also powers the saws in the masons shop.
627b. Lift (him up who is) greater than thou, said they, in thy name of "He of the Great Land Nome."
Set must serve under osiris for osiris to even exist. (they really didn't think like us)
628a. Thy two sisters Isis and Nephthys come to thee; they heal thee
Osiris passes through the upper eye (at 81' 3") to be on the pyramid top. There his sisters who (respectively) oversee the 3nw-boat (henu boat) and the dndndr-boat (ascender) come to him. First isis comes to him.
They heal what is wrong with the dead king which is that he will be forgotten. They build a mnemonic (the pyramid) that he might never be forgotten.
628b. complete and great, in thy name of "Great Black,"
This is a little obscure. Probably they are referring to atum/ osiris within the earth where the solar element (CO2/ i3.t-wt.t) combines with the lunar element (water). It is dark and very black.
628c. fresh and great, in thy name of "Great Green."
When osiris becomes "fresh" at his emergence he stains the stone turquoise by the reaction of natron, copper sulphate, and carbonic acid. The entire north sides of the pyramids were heavily stained.
629a. Behold, thou art great and round like the "Great Round";
Osiris becomes "round" as the water is channeled in the winding watercourse.
629b. behold, thou are bent around, and art round like the "Circle which encircles the nb.wt";
He bent and comes to look like the rainbow he generates at the primeval mound.
629c. behold, thou art round and great like the "Great Circle which sets."
The rainbow sets at the mound when the sun approaches 52 degrees overhead.
630a. Isis and Nephthys protected thee in Siût,
There's a lot of information here I can't see yet because of the place names which I haven't solved yet (I'm working on it now). But isis and nephthys protect atum/ osiris in many ways.
630b. even their lord in thee, in thy name of "Lord of Siût";
630c. even their god in thee, in thy name of "God."
They protect even the theory of standing water by building a mnemonic which will outlive them all.
631 a. They adore thee, so that thou shalt not (again) withdraw from them, in thy name of "Dwȝ-ntr" (or, "divine Dwȝ");
When the water withdraws from the counterweight and the lifting sled construction immediately ends until flow can be reestablished.
631b. they take care of thee, so that thou mayest not (again) be angry, in thy name of "Dndr.w-boat."
Obscure.
Likely a reference to an overloaded counterweight that had caused a disaster in the past. This "Dndr.w-boat." is probably a specific dndndr-boat or perhaps the name of it.
632a. Thy sister comes to thee, rejoicing for love of thee.
Isis loves osiris and she with her harmonious sister together as the "two boats tied together" rejoice as they operate the "Bull of Heaven" which builds the pyramid.
632b. Thou hast placed her on thy phallus,
A reference to the I33.t sceptre which is a "funnel" which fills the henu boat (isis' boat)
632c. that thy seed may go into her, (while) it is pointed like Sothis.
Osiris/ atum is the seed which builds the pyramid when the I33.t-sceptre fills the counterweight. Sothis is a very important mnemonic which represents the earliest known human who was goal driven, female, and very "sharp" (the wife of S3h). Isis is entreated to have these same characteristics before she gives birth to horus (the stone being pulled up the "inclined planes" to the pyramid).
632d. Horus the pointed has come forth from thee as Horus who was in Sothis.
Horus the stone comes forth when isis falls and is in the boat of her harmonious twin, nephthys.
633a. Thou art pleased with him, in his name of "Spirit who was in the Dndr.w-boat";
Osiris is pleased that the stones come to the pyramid top where he begins "towing the earth by means of balance".
633b. he avenges thee, in his name of "Horus, the son, who avenges his father."
Horus avenges the swallowing of the eye of horus by set simply by arriving at the pyramid top.
