After years of hounding cladking with no end yet in sight, you'd like to justify it all by pretending to be nobly defending the honor of the establishment from cladking, like Lehner at al need you to rush to their rescue like they're a ship full of damsels in distress?
Sorry, not buying that for a minute, thanks.
I'd say cladking's use of the word "Bumpkins" must be pretty appropriate given the number of Egyptologists who apparently can't even give the AEs credit for knowing the shortest distance between two points with a heavy load in tow, hence this thread.
That, and the fact that your "deeply religious" remark about the AEs probably best translates as "superstitious bumpkins who had no idea how preposterous their own creation myths were even after pulling them out of their own ears" or perhaps "they were too stupid to notice that their pantheon was none other than that of their infidel neighbors, repackaged like a greatest hits album"?
Yes, quite "noble" of you and Egyptology to hold them in such "high" regard while making a living off them, or at least making a hobby out of them.
