I have no problem with that. For small weights it just doesn't take much of a "pulley'.

Your method certainly could have worked and could have been the exact way it was built.
BUT, the pyramid is stepped and they would not have built steps AND pulled each stone all the way to the top. The SIMPLEST solution for the evidence is that they mustta pulled stones up one step at a time. They then cladded each step from the bottom up starting with the TOP step.
The evidence MUST BE respected. There is a very long history of not even gathering evidence and writing off all the evidence that does exist but the pyramid IS stepped and steps could only indicate stones were pulled up one step at a time. All the pyramids were stepped because ropes were mostly limited to about 100' and the pulleys they did have couldn't accommodate any connections between ropes.
