All lettered Egyptologists believe the exact same thing about the ancient Egyptians. You remember the beliefs about bumpkins, ramps, tombs, and stasis right?
This BY DEFINITION separates "orthodox" from anyone who doesn't support these beliefs.
Words serve a valuable purpose. Just as Egyptologists refer to tiny piles of rubble with the same word they use for the great pyramids your proposal is an obfuscation rather than an attempt at reconciliation or communication. Egyptologists are never going to listen to ANYONE who doesn't accept their fundamental beliefs and this applies to most of their apologists as well. Rather than discourse there is personal attack and ignoring what they say.
We still use the word "pyramid" to refer to the tiny piles of rubble and even the texts that were found in them. Ask yourself why is that.

Man fears the pyramid, time fears man.
