Hello engbren,
>>1. Sopdet is Sah’s consort and we have already tied Sah to Reusre;
>>2. In one of the scenes, Reusre is outside Ruddjedet house standing with his kilt upside down. I think this is a reference to looking to the north or possibly laying down and looking straight up;
Laying down and looking straight up => exactly. The sun is rising, it is on the ground looking up at the sky. No need to bring Orion or Sirius into the picture.
Ast-Djamet (Table 6.1: rrt Ast diamt) The Female Hippopotamus (from Lyra to Bootes)
So what does Lyra and Bootes have to do with Orion or Sirius? Bootes is right next to Virgo.
>>3. Since Isis, Heqet etc are already involved in the birth as musicians.
My understanding is that Isis relates to Virgo and I don't know what Heqet relates to.
In my book 'Thebe Andromedia Estia'(In Hellenic) I used an early alphabet of 15 letters to decode the Phaistos Disk. Using this alphabet I was able to compute the Isopsephy value of Isis(72). It was equal to the rising azimuth in degrees of Spica as observed from Greece at the time the pyramids were erected. 72 is a number that leads to the pentagram and the Great Year.
Reading Proclus these days, I stumbled on to this(had to find an English translation online):
Commentaries of Proclus in the Timaeus of Plato, Book I (Diehl 141), translated from Hellenic by Thomas Taylor(I replaced Electra with the Moon):
So what we see here is that according to Proclus goddess Athena(Neith) relates to Virgo, the Ram, the northern stars, the Sun and the Moon.
Virgo is in the opposite celestial direction in regards to the Ram. Therefore if the Ram passes the Meridian at midnight this means that the Sun rises at Virgo.
What seems to be encoded in the Westcar papyrus is the date that certain pharaohs were born. To spot their birth, the corresponding constellations are noted, as were the position in regards to them of the Sun, and certain key planets. The shape of the formations are encoded.
I have finished by decoding and documentation of the dating of the birth of Khufu and Khafre. The date of birth of the other IV dynasty pharaohs is an open issue. I still need to document and research how this blends in with ancient Egyptian constellation, religious beliefs etc. The Westcar papyrus encodes the distance of two planets. There might have been more but we cant investigate due to it's corruption.

Quote
In the twelve liberated Gods, it makes, a third progression; but after this, it unfolds itself into light in the heavens, with unrestrained authority. In one way indeed, in the inerratic sphere. For there a certain allotment of this Goddess is expanded, whether it the place about the Ram, or that about the Virgin, or whether it be some one of the northern stars, as some say it is the Moon, which is there. But in another way, it is unfolded into light in the Sun. For there, according to theologists, an admirable power, and a Minerval order, govern wholes in conjunction with the Sun. And again, in another way in the Moon: for Minerva is the monad of the triad which is there. But in another way in the earth, according to the similitude of the allotments of the earth to the celestial distributions.
So what we see here is that according to Proclus goddess Athena(Neith) relates to Virgo, the Ram, the northern stars, the Sun and the Moon.
