Hi Glass Jigsaw,
I think it is more likely that there may be a connection to Auriga in the story of Djedi. This specific question relates to the story of Sneferu rowing on the lake. With respect to Djedi, What interests me there is the Charioteer carries a goat and two kids in many ancient depictions. Khnum or Khnemu the god that is connected to Khufu is represented by the flat horned Ram.
I don’t discount the connection to other cultures/religious views. Certainly there is likely a Mesopotamia or Babylonian astronomy influence and a later Greek and Roman influence. However, the Hyksos period when these stories are thought to have been committed to papyrus is thought to be circa 1800 BCE, the zodiac of Dendera is likely from around 50BCE to 50 AD so there is already quite a gap there that I am trying to keep as close as possible.
Regards,
BC
