I don't know if we could relate planet Mercury as Sebeg with a certain Egyptian god. Budge relates him to Seth. His Hellenic equivalent Hermes probably relates him to Thoth. The surface of the Moon looks pretty much like that of Mercury they are barren so they relate to the desert god Seth. It is a shame that 2 stories have missing parts and we cannot extract astronomic information from them . If the papyrus was whole we might find the distance of Mercury encoded.
