Thank you - I'm working off the hypothesis that they did use mythology to hand down knowledge in an oral tradition as well as their written stories. It is of course possible that the stories were always intended to be written stories. Irrespective, I think I've made a strong case that they encode astronomical details. It would be great to hear from others on their views affirming or dissenting from mine.
