This is not Sitchin's idea, but rather what the Mesopotamians actually said.
Is this to mean the Anunnaki came to earth from a planet Nibiru? No.

Yeah, man-you need to actually read his books. And then go study history to verify the context of what he is saying. And when he talks about specific texts go find them and read them. You can start with the Enuma Elish.
