I tried something else. I visually pinpointed the South-East corner of the base of the Empire State Building and the Chrysler Building as show below. Then using the dimensions shown below from Wikipedia I drew a line based on the direction of the building based on Google Earth so as to pinpoint the South-Western corners of each building. Then using an exact perpendicular line I spotted the North-Western corner of East building. From the North-Western corner and the South-East corner positions I computed the middle point. I then computed the azimuth and distance between these points. We can see this below.
But the exact data I computed using an online tools is:
x = Empire State Building - Chrysler Building distance = 936.647 m
phi = Empire State Building - Chrysler Building azimuth = 67.583 degrees
Thus x is comparable to the distance of the center of Khufu's pyramid base to Menkaure's pyramid base as computed by Dash at 936.296 m. Petrie has it at 936.158 meters.
The azimuth difference between the Greek mountains and the Giza pyramids(M2 to M1, vs G2 to G1) is 67.74 degrees according to Dash and 67.66 degrees according to Petrie.
