I am pretty sure Edwards is totally wrong. It all depends on what we consider to be the platform - base level. I have found geodetic / geographic evidence that reinforces M&R's values. I think Glenn Dash uses Petrie's figures because he doesn't want to be mixing surveys in his effort to compute the true distances and orientation of the Giza pyramids. I don't think he is taking sides on which survey is more accurate.

201/205 = 0.9805
102.2/104.6 = 0.9771
Khafre pyramid height / Khufu pyramid height = 143.56 m / 146.71 m = 0.9785

The site is roughly a trapezoid with a 201-foot-long (61 m) frontage on Lexington Avenue; a 167-foot-long (51 m) frontage on 42nd Street; and a 205-foot-long (62 m) frontage on 43rd Street.
201/205 = 0.9805
102.2/104.6 = 0.9771
Khafre pyramid height / Khufu pyramid height = 143.56 m / 146.71 m = 0.9785
